That would be a very hot topic for the "general music discussion" threads. I'm sure if I put my 2 cents in, I'd be swiftly removed from the forum. I think "political" discussion is prohibited. So much for Liberty and Freedom of Speech,eh.......

Yes, Kev, you are correct - political discussion is prohibited. And yes, anybody who breaches the rules may be banned.

The simple fact is that certain topics cannot be broached without people getting offended and/or getting offensive. That's why such discussions are not tolerated, not only here but on the many other forums. The ugliness just isn't worth it.

Remember, this forum is for about Ernie Ball Music Man instruments, products, accessories and artists and is a place for the fans to share their enthusiasm and experiences. Everything else is just noise. Some of that noise is welcome and enjoyed, but some won't be tolerated. Common sense should tell you the difference.

Those of you who have not already read this topic HERE, please do so.

To BartB, I think your question is best left to be answered by BP if he so wishes.

Much as I would love to see an open discussion that doesn't degenerate into a cat fight, we all know the odds on that happening are pretty short. Locking threads is something I hate to do, but in this case I'm gonna. BP can re-open it if he sees fit.
