I got the call from my buddy yesterday. The factory called and said my Y2D shipped out.

After months of anticipation it comes down to a cross country trip via UPS...

Here's hoping for a Wednesday delivery or it won't show up until Monday with the holiday. Now that would suck... :(

Fred, PSYCHED!!!!! Well look at it this way Wednesday or Monday at least you know it's coming and can plan accordingly.

Sounds like a day or 2 off to be able to deal with the AWE!!!

Holy cr@p!

Why do I get the feeling that getting THIS guitar will be even more exciting than the usual Ernie Ball?

Full report expected...after much playing (obviously).

Yeah buddy, Christmas comes early this year for sure.

Mike, you never know... :D She just took me to Hooter's last week...

Keith I think you're right. the anticipation for this guitar seems to be a little different than others. Maybe because it's a little departure from the ordinary. Not that there's anything ordinary about any EBMM guitars, I guess just all the hype and buildup with the special webcast of Steve and BP talking about the guitar. Everything's been a little different with this one.

I am like a little kid on Christmas eve though...

Now THAT's something to give Thanks for--EBMMs, Steve Morse design, your very supportive wife and UPS (not in that order!).

Fred,

At this point, we want hourly tracking data until it's delivered. ;)

Steve,
I don't have a tracking number... Not sure I want one to be honest. I'd never get any work done, I'd keep hitting refresh on the UPS site.

I think what I'm going to do is email the pics to the forum members that I know, and I don't this fogman guy... were you in SLO in September??? :D

Hey hey hey!!! that's not nice! ;)

Let's put it this way. If I had the money, I would have gone to Slo. No wait, if I had 2x the money, I would have been in Slo. I must get the damn guitar first.

Every day Janice, every day. I do have a lot to be thankful for other than the material things and I realize it.

But some of those material things are pretty cool though ;) ... I've got a damn sweet guitar on the way and I can't wait.

I'm not sure if NorM's Last Will & Testament covers this at the moment..

(I know Keith stands to inherit some of his collection..)

..but NorM, if there's no heir for your Y2D, consider adding a codicil with my name.

I ask this because the arrival of your Y2D after all of this anticipation will surely spell your doom. :D

I'm sure that Big Poppa has designated the finest specimen for you, unless you do something to pi$$ him off between now and the shipping date. ;)
