Has anybody done it..?

I'm looking at switching out the single Hum diamond plate pickguard for a black one in HSS config (using Chandler's, if I can work out which of the many Silo Spec guards would work), and I want to stick some EMG's in there.

I used to have a USA Strat with David Gilmour's DG20 set in it, and I miss that Gilmour/Steve Rothery creamy tone!!!

Isn't it only routed for HH configuration? I have a set of Luke EMG's, I'm putting in a Silo Special, been working on it far too long, hahahaha. I like the Dargie Luke I had that had them in it. But prefer the Silo Special for some reason.

I'm sure the DG's will sound great.
