So UPS just dropped off my new Envy Green LE Ray w/ maple board. I'm giving it a few hours to settle down before playing it but I'll be sure to take some pictures and post 'em up here real soon. It's gorgeous... :D

1. Changed the signature...

2. I know it's cliche but this really is the best Ray I've personally played. The action is perfect!

3. This color is so gorgeous..and the abalone. It was love at first sight.

That green + maple fingerboard is supa sweet! Congrats!

Nice bass. Love the envy green and props to maple :) Whats the perfect action for you? Measure at 12th fret, from top of fret to bottom of string if ya would :)

I really don't have anything to measure the space with. I usually go by how a bass feels and mess with it until it feels RIGHT. I think I'm gonna go purchase some tools for setting up my guitars soon and I'll let you know what the results are.

i like it. except the black headstock. if it was the same color i would probably like it. but the black not so much. otherwise great looking bass.

I felt the same way until I saw them in person. For some reason, while it doesn't photograph well (IMHO), it does look great up close.

I don't get why people feel a need to post comments like "if it only it was rosewood" "I don't like it with/without a matching head stock", or "if it was this color it would be sweet". If you dig the bass, cool! If you dislike something about it that can't be changed then S.T.F.U. I just don't understand why people always post stuff like that when someone gets something new.

"Thats a great Squire , if only it was a MusicMan." If I said something like that, it would be silly... about as silly as what some of you are saying.
