epiphone valve jr. vs. blackheart bh5h

looking for something similar and cheap. my particular situation is a new blackheart or a used epe for $50. what are the cons and pros guys?

It really depends on what you intend to do with it. The Blackheart looks superior in every way. I have a Valve Special that I bought just for recording at home and it gets some pretty good saturated and crunchy blues tones but is way to dark and muddy for my tastes. I guess I just prefer Fender style clean tones. Neither amp will do metal. Don't overlook a Fender champ either, it smokes the valve junior.
