ernie ball coated strings

picking up on what someone else posted, is big poppa going to to do a coated bass strings?are they going to be coloured like the dr's that would be a great , the next big thing after pick guards what colour strings to have?also i want to change the strings on my sterling soon, what are the warmest sounding roundwounds ernie ball do?

Coated strings would be awesome.Just ordered some hybird slinkys for my sterling.

My guitarist and I went to GC to get him a set to try today, unfortunately they were out of them. I'm definitely interested to see how they sound. As far as bass strings go, it's gonna be hard to get me away from Hybrid Slinkys any time soon...

I'm honestly not a huge fan of coated bass strings. There's nothing like a new set of Slinkys,IMO.
