Ernie Ball EVH DOB please

Just bought a used Ernie ball Music Man EVH-Looks like a green color-Ser#80165- Just wondering if anyone had some info on the exact color and year manufactured?

80xxx, huh? Sounds like that's a first year production.

I had an 82xxx from '92, so that's where I would put it, but Jon or Derekwill be able to square you up soon...hang tight!

thanks hero-that was quick-This thing has some blue in it but just a tad-mostly dark green. No birdseye just straight maple neck??

Next to a Trans Blue you can see the real differance !! S W E E T !!

Can you post any photos? I'm very surprised that it has no birdseye on the neck. I have an early EVH and it's covered in birdseye.

EB is closed for the weekend, and they do this DOB/color ID thing in their free time, so I would guess either Monday or Tuesday you will have an answer

I had another Green one I bought from Guitar Center in '91, it didn't have any birds eye either??? My Japanese buddy has her now-

So I figured I would find another one to replace her.... I actually spoke to someone at Ernie Ball yesterday-he said this Beatch is a Trans Blue shipped to Germany. I bought it from a German Collector who had at least 15 USA guitars that were all serial # 01's -- first runs of ALOT of guitars.

Well alrighty then- The picture shown is the same guitar- It's green with hints of blue-One of a kind forsure - A keeper- Only Blue Trans I have ever seen that looks more Green than blue....
