Figured I might as well make my first post really important.
So my high school has this required speech and it is a huge deal and you can't graduate in Washington if you don't have like a C on it. It is a career speech in which you basically research and get to talking with a company, figure out a job you would want to do and then you give a 15 min presentation on it.Figured since it is so important I won't half ass it like normal so I have more time to play guitar. It took some persuasion but I got the ok for Ernie Ball, told her it really is where I want to go after High School/During College and they make the best guitars on the planet and they have great customer service and would actually talk with me.

So I was wondering if there was anyone I could just do an e-mail type interview with about some jobs. It would be nice if it was a Musicman job, like a setup guy or sales rep, both seem like fun jobs.
Also, does anybody with really good pics of the San Louis Obispo factory want to let me use them for my presentation?

Nw changing subject to guitars
here is my Silhoutte Special in Saphire Black (discontinued right?)

and I have a real nice guitar coming to me this summer and was planning on a Taylor T5 but I have slapped my self around and think I would rather go with a Rosewood ASS, is this still orderable lefty and can you do Peizo on it?

Thanks, and sorry for such an obscure newbie post!

Welcome to the forum - you can find out the year by posting your serial number to the Sticky Serial number thread at the top section of the guitar forum front page.

I have to make presentations for a living - I also give presentations on how to give presentations. PM me if you want some hints/tips.

Nice looking guitar you have btw.

Hello Kiss

Always nice to see a fellow lefty on here.......my lefty Silhouette Special took me round the world between '99 & 2004.

Sadly you can't have a Piezo on your EBMMs.....I made do with a Boss Acoustic Simulator pedal which gave a very satisfactory rendition of an acoustic in a band situation.

I guess it must be the holiday weekend that's stopped people posting theit usual desperately funny left-handed "jokes"

The USA educational system must be very different......seems odd to me having to make speeches to pass.....still, good luck.

Yeh I was really excited for peizo, oh well though, I do have a "decent" acoustic.

Also yes the Washington school system is insane, nothing like the Bay Area where I moved from. I am at the 7th best high in the country and it is nothing but work, they want you to have 2 honors classes, 2 AP classes and 50 hours of community service. Cali was 25 hours and AP and Honors recomended. Since I'm a transfer I am still catching up so I have no time for music classes, only 1 last semester, none now,and a 1 semester class next year. Senior year though AP music theory, Honors music composition, and AP guitar...YEH, takes care of that crap
:D

Also with the Rosewood ASS, I was at 12thfret.com, and other various sites, and some say it is a very limited run. Does that mean I should jump on ordering one? I would like to wait untill July if possible.

Welcome Kissmyaze. Nice to meet a fellow young'un! Go Class of '07!!! Looking forward to playing your ball in college?

I am class of '09 so I geuss you'd be pushing me in the hallway if we were at school....but yeh hopefully I will be playing more than 1 by college. haha

Also good the ASS is not a limited run. I can relax now and look for the best deal.

Ah my bad. That's crazy that you have to make a presentation in tenth grade that determines whether you graduate.

And don't worry about me pushing you around. Do people do that to you? Tell me their names and I'll come kick their Axis Super Sports!

Sadly I will be going to college with only one ball. But the good news is that I'll be in Connecticut for college so I'm in Dubaldo country!!

Yeh you get all 4 years to try to pass it, wasn't here last year so I only get 3 goes at it. I will only need 1 try though with all the pics and everything i'll have.
and actually people at my school are cool but geez the school it self annoys the hell out of me.

but anyway thanks everyone, I will try to upload the powerpoint when it's done and post it on here....I am trying to record some licks for backround music and it will pretty much be worshiping Musicman.
Will be a few weeks untill I am done though.
