I’m back in the gang. Or at least I will be soon. Actually, I never left the gang in spirit, and remained a frequent visitor and sometimes contributor to the forum since I last owned a Stingray sold to me by Jack a couple years ago (a satin finish, natural 4 string). I even attended the Open House, knowing that one day I’d be a full-fledged member again. I expect that I’ll be contributing more often now that I’ll have something new to rave about.
I was close to pulling the trigger on a Bongo, but I’m just not sure what I’d do with all those extra frets and endless palate of tones. When I saw this one, it got my interest (I’ve always like natural/maple) and then when I inquired about the weight, I was powerless to resist. I have a feeling I could be happy with this one for a long time. I should have more pics in about a week.
Oh, yeah…I almost forgot to mention about the weight…. 8.25 lbs.
