Help! Ernie Ball Music Man JP6 Valuation

Hi, I posted this same message yesterday. It seems it was taken down. I guess I am breaking forum rules with a post like this as I haven't contributed anything to this forum yet but I can't think of a better place to ask my question. My first post on this forum was a few years ago when I found a JP7 for sale on a local buy/sell site that I was interested in buying and I wasn't sure if it was a real JP7 or not so I came to this forum for input. I have since acquired a JP6 and I am wondering what it is worth. I originally estimated it to be worth about $1600 CAD but after talking to people at music stores I'm not sure it is worth quite that much.

Anyway, here is my original post and hopefully I can get some input on it or maybe someone can redirect me somewhere else.

I'm looking for input on what my JP6 is worth. It is a John Petrucci 6 w/Piezo Shield/Bullet inlay and painted headstock. I can't find anything wrong with the guitar, it's in perfect condition.

I'd probably say that that combo is worth about 1300-1500 USD. I use used.guitarcenter.com to gauge current used prices as well as my local CL and eBay.

We have a restriction for new members on posting guitars for sale. Questions like this are usually a prelude to selling, hence we generally remove them.

Sales values vary from place to place, and so your best bet is to look at local resources to see what other JP6's go for- Craistlist, ebay, the F/S thread here, etc.
