+1 Golem. I too had a trans orange ST5 and there was no mistaking it for gold.
So I picked up the bass the other day. Most definately the real deal. Really nice looking bass. As I said I never played with MMs before, being lefty I cant just play any bass in a store. I've had my Warwicks for a long time. I think I am going to really like this one. May have to put the Warwicks aside for a while lol
I havent even had a chance to plug it in yet though. I picked it up on the way to the airport and I wont be home until Friday night. My wife took it straight home. What a tease....
It is definately Trans gold after seeing it in person. More yellow than orange.
