I won a guitar at the Ernie Ball tent at warped tour today through the bean bag contest and the guy said that the guitar would be shipped out at the end of the year. He asked me for my mailing adress and everything and i was so unbelievably excited, but when i got home, i couldnt find any information about this contest at all. I am starting to wonder if the Ernie Ball tent is official or not. What do you guys think?

Let me guess, at the tent some guy called Sterling gave you that info? Man you got shafted, as if anyone called Sterling can be trusted. Ernie Ball dont make guitars, they are an ice cream company. Its all a scam, beware!!!!!!! You didnt give them your mailing address did you? Change the locks!

Thank you and sorry for the second post. I just made an account for this forum and it seemed like that section of the forum was dead. so if the guitar is a lower end $500 dollar EBMM, what guitar do you think it is?

no such thing exists. if it's and EBMM it's at least twice as much.

i would'nt bank on it being a real EBMM, but i could very well be wrong, i just would'nt expect a guitar of this quality and price to be "given" away.

i was at a JP clinic recently and they had an OLP JP to give away, it's an older copy that was never endorsed (i believe) by EBMM. the most realistic thing you will receive is a Sterling by Musicman, which are MM endorsed and from what i hear, are fantastic guitars.

but then again, i could be completely wrong and if i was in your position, i would sure hope its a real EBMM

I wouldn't try to second guess Sterling's reply - the reason being is that I have seen real EB guitars given away on more than one occasion.

Congrats on winning the guitar JB.

Sterlings are great!

Congrats on the Win... can't complain about a free guitar. Last time i was at the warped tour i got a free guitar pick... so a free guitar is a much better prize!

Hey Justin, do you remember what model?

I’ve owned 2 SBMMs. You won’t be disappointed in what ever model you get.
