I had one in the past (sold due to getting AxeFX).
Unlike (for example) a Crybaby it does not get that ultra high thin glassy sound when completely toedown.
Hehe. It's a great pedal. All my opinion ofcourse but to my ears its Quiet, responsive, built like a tank but not huge like some other wahs out there. Good luck w purchase and enjoy it once she's yours.
Cheers Redburst, i know what you mean about the bigger wahs. I saw the Mark Tremonti wah a while ago and nearly fainted. That thing needs a pedal board all to itself!!!
honest opinion - BEST WAH EVER - I've had crybaby's since I started playing and I took a risk on buying this (becuase it's almost triple what I paid for my previous wah) - NEVER LOOKED BACK.
It's dynamic - it has a HUGE toneal range and it's it built like a tank - best money I spent on a pedal - Don't get me wrong I'm a fanboi - but this is a great pedal. -
And to quote Blues Saraceno - "it doesn't takeup too much real estate" - becuase it's not trapezoid in height profile it sits level on my board and I have size 12 feet - again don't feel like I'll slip off - (And you know what they say about men with big feet?? - they are difficult to buy socks for over the festive period!)
Here's where mine lives...
And here's the Blues Video - made me buy one... seriously mine sounds like the video -
Thanks for the detailed review smelly bum!!!
I have got to have one now after seeing the reviews and videos. Plus it's EB so it will match the guitar
I appreciate all your help chaps
i absolutley love mine been using it for about a year now love the sound and use it 95% of the time but also i have a bad horsie wah right next to it and since it switchless i use that one for quick passages and my singer steps on it when im not near my board.
I love mine for all the reasons above; sound, build, smooth switch and action, etc., but you know what may be my second favorite feature? (behind tone, which is clearly #1)
It's so simple, but I LOVE THE LED's that tell you if it's on or off!
I played a Dunlop cry-baby for years -which is a great pedal and all- but I can't tell you how many times I'd come out of a lead and back to rhythm and the wah is still on because I didn't press it down hard enough or something...
i will tell you that by virtue i'm not a wah guy at all; however, i'm rebuilding my pedalboard and my eb wah found home on the new board... so this is in my humble opinion the best wah you can get... especially coming from a non-wah guy
