I'm just curious... I ordered a Bongo HS 6 from EB September 20th-ish, when could I expect it to arrive? I live in Winnipeg, MB, Canada if that has anything to do with how long it would take...
Could I expect it in a month or will I be waiting for it at Christmas?
Either way the longer I wait the crazier I'm gunna be when I get it... its my first Bongo and first MM so... :D

And for anyone who is curious its Orange Firemist w/ black perloid pickguard, rosewood neck, matching headstock, and as said above HS 6 string :D

Very nice, I hope you enjoy it! Is it your first EBMM?

Have you spoken with your reseller regarding the ETA?

Yup, its my first EBMM, I'm an EBMM virgin :p

Well, when I bought it the guy said 2-3 months... so I would recieve it in roughly a month... but I went back there (Long and McQuade) a while ago and I asked another guy the same question and he said it would be roughly 4-6 months!

I can't wait half a year! It'll drive me nuts knowing that its coming but I don't have it yet...:(

So yea I was wondering if there was an average wait time just to be sure.

Ask Long & McQuade and they can check with EB.

Hmm... well I guess I'll ask again and make sure to be very specific... Thanks ::cool:

I just can't wait to move on from the 20 year old Fender Squire I have been using for the past 3 years (I'm only 18)... so my bass is older than I am... I got it hand-me-down from my much older bro who used to play.

the build time always varies & depends on MM's backlog. MM only builds a bass if it's ordered - so they never have (for example) black Stingrays sitting around just in case a dealer ordered one.

anyways - like the guys said, your dealer should be able to get an ETA from MM for you but in general the wait's anywhere from 3-6 months.

I'm guessing you mean rosewood fingerboard.

I too have a Bongo on order and placed my order at roughly the same time. I also live in Canada and ordered through Long&Mquade. I called down to SLO and was told by the very friendly customer service person that I could expect my bass to be ready in approximately 8 weeks. Not too bad for a made to order instrument!

Still its tough waiting but I am confident it will be well worth the wait.

Welcome, I'd go to the store and politely ask them to call CS in CA. with you and inquire, it's takes a few minutes at most. Good luck.
