The biggest problem will be, with Smelly's luck, he'll end up working his tail off and getting 50 people to agree on something that turns out to be something he doesn't want

i think the price of 50 will be to much to carry for any one person or dealer. i dont know how rich smelly is but im sure he wouldnt want the worry of the price of 50 guitars. but if its something that intrests me i will be one of the 50 . if it ever happens.

i think if it was a forum thing we wouldnt have a problem with 50 with all the guys from round the world. but then the price point would be a massive difference. and much much harder to agree on what people want.

SPecial runs are part of very large orders Like a master order for 500-1000 pieces. THey are almost never less that 50 units. They usually originate with the distributor who takes and carries the risk. THey are almost never through only one dealer. The problem is the effort the distributor and focus they have to ahve is usually not worth it for them. we make them primarily for the German and Japanese markets only.

Having said that If you can get 50 people over there to agree on what it would be then we would make it. Im not holding my breath...

Thanks BP, 50 is a tall order - but I totally see why you would need that volume - I'm super excited as a type this, but it's my daughters 3rd birthday today - so might be the cake!

Jimmy is right but I would like to try - although as Michael says I'll endup with a spec that I don't want!!!!

GUys, I know this will probably not happen, but thanks for letting me try - and a big thanks to BP - show me ANY other guitar company where you could ask that and get a positive response!

BP, what if the next time the Japanese do a special run like the pink Axis or the BFR Luke proto we tack onto the end of their order? That would be easier than try to agree on something here
