I hope these two comments are related, it's been quiet in Bongolia lately :).

Agreed! Really quiet. Last special Bongo was the special colored Dargie II's.
Maybe a BFR bongo? Who knows. Let's leave it to BP to suprise us. :)

Sorry for the foolish question but what is the black part at the bridge? and the "screws" beside it? what's their "job"?

Those are the mutes...the screws allow you to move the mutes up into position on the strings and their height against the string determines the amount of muting action...

see I was gonna mention black in the older classic thread but its just too obvious and too much to ask. And I am trying to break my habit of only buying trans red and black instruments. (and only playing minor 5ths and 5ths)
