hey guys.
first of all i'm what you call a newbie (i learn pretty fast tho', bear with me :D ) so i should introduce myself. cristina, 19, sweden. *waves* been lurkin' for a while and i thought i'd join the fun.

now my question: are there gonna be any special events in europe? never heard of so far, have i been missing on anything? it would be great to have something over here too since i for one couldn't possibly afford to travel all the way across the big ocean, at least not any time soon... sweden for example would be a nice place :p

Welcome, Cristina. We're all still pretty motivated (and, in some cases, hungover) from our weekend with the gang at SLO with the EBMM folks, but someone who knows (Beth?) should be along shortly to answer your question.

Meanwhile, jump in and have fun!

Christina seriously we should think of a way to do mobile open houses....it is just so hard in that we have a very hardworking dedicated team of people who all handle at least two jobs and to tell the sory properly they would have to travel and then we dont make guitars ...Beth any ideas?

Well, BP...

You had toyed with the idea of a fund to bring bassbara to the Open House..

Maybe you add a few bucks to each instrument, and divert those dollars into a slush fund that we use to fly pretty women from all over the world to forum events in the USA?

I'm only half joking!

I like the way Steve thinks.

And yes, those faux cheesesteak sandwiches in the airport SUCKED!

Jack,

Indeed those "cheesesteaks" were lousy. In fact, the only thing good about that meal was the company.

Amen, brother - a real pleasure to finally sit down with you and your rather fabulous wife.

Let's do it again sometime.

oh man don't hold me responsible for that one

but anyway, i get your point, it might not be that easy.
and speaking of things us europeans live without, i really hope none of you have been affected by the hurricanes, well i pretty much take for granted that since you're here nothing bad happened, but you never know...

Hej Ina!

If you DO persuade Big Poppa to hold a Music Man event in Sweden, count me in!

I've been eager to get to Sweden to do genealogical research, and a Music Man event might just push me over the edge! (My great grandfather.. farfars far.. emigrated from Sweden to the USA.) I see you're a Romanian transplant, yourself.

Wow, you've got some long hair!
