bad days? fighting with your guitar or amp not sounding good?

Yes, I have had many of those days .... d'oh!:)

sometimes all it takes is switching guitars or just unplugging a stomp-box to make things 'sound' better .... at the worst, it takes putting everything away for a little while and taking a time-out

dont laugh...move the amp to a different position in the room.......sonic feng shi o whatever but really sometimes you just have it in a position that sucks.

Now I get to correct BP for one time. Thats "feng shui" or geomancy that we all knew better. Haha.

There are days where the mojo just isn't there, or I can't get the amp dialed in right, or there is a huge disconnect between what the brain wants and what the fingers do. On those days, the playing is shorter. But I like the idea of moving the amp or standing up or just doing something different. I've got to try that the next time.

I get a lot of those days. But yet, I'm still trying to get that tone I've always been looking for.
