Ever have regret, I do. I think about it everyday. Below you will find why. Maybe it was the trip to jamaica for two weeks, maybe it was the fact i stopped playing for a year but whatever it was i wanna cry when i think about it. I call NOS the ones with original neckplates and the evh offset saddles and trem bar that sat closer to the body.
mm axis trans amber
mm axis trans purple
mm axis solid black
mm axis trans blue/auqa nos
mm axis trans black nos

all sold. see the regret.............i would give my left nut to have the trans black back. time to drink another beer lol.

Well I have a few regrets.

Selling my 68 SG to get a Les Paul back in 73.
Loaning a really nice late 60's Marshall 50 head to my mate who cooked the transformer - that amp is now gone!!
- stopping playing for a very long time - family, kids, mortgage other interests (Karate) all contributed to me giving up.

The one good thing though is that in the main when I buy a guitar I will hang onto it. I buy them cos they feel right - there's only one in my collection that I may move on though!!. I've kept most of my gear over the years(Marshall, Les Paul) but having discovered EB guitars there's no looking back !!

"don't look baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack" as Boston used to sing.

I have had regrets and did a few mistakes in my life but I aways try to go over it and those mistake always help me to move forward and become, I hope, a wiser person.

For instance and to stay in the guitar topic, my lovely "Sandy" (ASS MM90 Piezo with a killing top) that is now replaced with Tangerine (Axis Sport MM90) that is just better than Sandy

My regret was selling a Gibson DG 335. Bought it for 2300, sold it for a little less, and they are now selling on ebay for 14,000. Crazy right???

Only regret would be something that either killed or seriously harmed someone else, which I think I haven´t done.

Things are just that...stuff. They come and go.

Enjoy them while you can, then have space for more to come!

Everyone has regrets about the one they let getaway! Lucky for me since I got seriously heavy into EBMM guitars 6 years ago, I have never parted with any and the ones I own will go to my sons. I do wish I would of bought a few guitars I had the chance to buy 30 years ago though.

Regrets? Personally no. I've sold my guitars to help pay bills and other things to help out in the "real world" While in the process helping out a forumite get an awesome ebmm =D. So it's been win/win. In time financial blessing will arrive and so will the guitars =D

No regrets here. To me, selling a guitar is kind of like breaking up with a girlfriend: there's a reason why you parted ways. :) You don't always remember the "why" after a year or so but the reason was generally a good one.

I sold an amazing tele wayyy back in high school...just idiotic....but I was a kid, I suppose. I sold a Martin 000-28H a few years back, and all other acoustics are pretty much just Ok to me after that.....that guitar was special.

I've held on to my EBMM AL for just the reasons above....it's not my go-to, or my #1, or even gigged often at all....in fact, my main gigging guitar for the past 3 years is an unassuming American Standard tele with a Warmoth neck...... It's bulletproof, I don't love it, or even care about it...actually. I'd be happy hammering nails (or beating the brains out of drunk stage-crashers) with it....it's just a tool, like a hammer. But my Albert Lee is special. I'm old enough to know that it's a really well-made guitar....and I do not want to let it go....unless it's for another EBMM or a guitar of similar quality.

So, I'm trying to age "intelligently" and have fewer regrets....we'll see if it works.

I had an old 80's MIJ Epiphone Sheraton, fantastic guitar through and through, I let it go for silly money a few years ago.. Still kick myself over that one :(
