Hey All,

Been gigging like mad here in South Korea and played a few rock festivals. Here are some pics from the Ulsan Rock Festival. Such a great time...big crowd, huge stage. Just a great night. My band played just before the Korean headliners and the crowd was very responsive.

1st band went on 6ish:

we went on around 9:45

Kick ass dude. That stage setup looks great. I miss playing the big stages.
I figure you guys had a load of fun.
Thanks for sharing the pics.

...playing a Music Man Bass too ;) :D

proudly! :)

I know there are those who would scoff at SUBs but over the last 8-10 months I have played 150+ gigs on it and can't imagine a better 'workhorse' bass in a working band. We play different clubs and stages all the time and have gigs that run from 40-60 minute sets of originals to 3-4 hours of covers and orginals. I play on different amps most nights and the bass always delivers. Plug it in..set the amp flat, tweak the pre a bit and I am pretty much good to go. Plus the construction and tuff finish mean I don't have to be constantly worried about it...

I also know many people doubt the tonal variety available from Single H basses...but I find I can play motown, classic rock, blues, heaveir stuff with my band that immediately jump on stage with a Grateful Dead tribute band I have been playing in and never be out of place. I almost think the Single H set up is more sensitive to playing style and right hand placement...and this allows it so many tones and feels. I wil certainly buy a 'full on' ball in the near future (Single H bongo methinks...) but not due to any sense of lacking from the SUB ..more out of appreciation for good the company makes their basses. :)

No to be honest I never thought about a rock concert in Korea. :)

Sure looks like it was fun though.

Good thing it was South Korea. In North Korea, musicians would be imprisoned for wearing shorts on stage. Well maybe not, but they should be :D
