EB will give you a definite date, but I'm gonna pull a bovinehost or Rod Trussbroken a la the EB bass forum and guess-timate:
My original EVH, rec'd new in July '92, was 82061. I'm gonna say that you should expect to see a timeframe of Jul 92-Sep 92, depending on how fast they were getting cranked out at the time (before there were 5 million on backorder!)
Now, how far off am I, EB?

Thanks for the help. That sounds about the time that I had bought it used, but it was so long ago I can't remember exactly. I saved this one from a music shop front window, before the UV rays got to it. Also I recently read (on a web site)the serial numbers might not have been issued in order. Maybe someone from EB could confirm or deny that? Thanks again
