I've considered doing this however I've always worried about getting the painted headstock refinished to match the body and loosing the Music Man logo and model name. But I suppose with a natural finish it's not as much of an issue?

I actually opted to not do the headstock because I didn't want the silkscreen sanded off. He can do the headstock and they replace the silkscreen with watersides and it looks just the same, that just wasn't an option for me though. If you check out the refinished pink evh on ebay, that is how they did the headstock(Pat did that one too)
