Does anybody know how much the Edward Van Halen Music Man cost when they first came out in the early 90's. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

If I recall, I spent $1600 on mine in June of '92.

I paid around $1,700 for mine in '94. Somehow I got a '92 model in '94...

dwf.....how did you get a '94 model in '92?

I had an EVH before, brand new from the shelf in June 1992. Bought it when I was 18, and had it up until mid '97, when I sold it.

Started rebuilding in February 2002, and the current EVH was bought in December 2002. (I had another one that I bought in May 2003, and just recently sold)

I got mine for $1400 in '93. If I remember right, the shop had one in every color except gold. Wish I would have bought the green one....
