I'm in Mundelein(!), and have a few Eddies, but none for sale. They do come up here on occassion from the fellow Ballers, so stay close. In fact Brentrocks just unloaded quite a few in the last month or so.

yup, you got bit by the EVH bug!!! i had 3 really nice one a couple weeks ago...they are all over the place...you can find them on ebay almost daily!!!(most of them are in houston, TX )

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Yes, I've definitely got the EVH bug. I'm looking to buy #3. Have a sunburst and red quilt sitting in the basement and feel they could use some extra company. (can't play the red quilt - still has the plastic on the covers)

Dave, out of curiosity what do you have in stock?

Krell, make it out to the local establishments at all in Mundelein? Band I'm in played at "The Shack" on their reopening night a few months ago - pretty nice venue.

BTW - to support my EVH and old Les Paul habits I've got 2 guitars listed on ebay. A 2005 Gibson Les Paul faded tobacco burst and an Axis (trans gold quilt). Both are very nice and are no reserve auctions if anyone is interested.

Dude, Buy an axis, - they cost less, they're new - and you can have a choice of colours,tops, and options... - and all the things that came up with the EVH are fixed on the axis.....

I like Mr EVH - I admire anyone who beats cancer and anyone who's had a career like him - but this isn't the guitar he uses anymore so you've got to ask yourself are you buying it for him or you !?

I have played 4 EVH's - 3 when they were new in the shop I worked in (Back in the day) - and I prefer the axis, and not I'm not getting kick backs from poppa for saying this - Although if you read this poppa , you've got my address!!!

The body shape was revolutionary at the time and the axis makes the original better with more options (IMHO) and best of all - you won't have to sell internal organs to buy one.

Yeah, man. I love EVH, I'd love to get an EVH, but I think Axis is almost the same guitar for less money, the differences are actually improvementes. All I'm saying is give Axis a chance

Can't say I have. I find Mundelein to be lacking socially compared to Libertyville, although I wish that weren't the case. Next time you're gigging let me know.
