I think the funniest thing about the auction is after you pay 30 large for the guitar they're gonna charge you another 100 bucks to ship it :rolleyes:

Would rather have a 2-hum Albert and the rest as a down payment on a house. They don't make land anymore...

So whats the story with the black headstock?

Sterling, what did ya mean about you gave it to all the band?

Good question about the Headstock ?!?

That type of guitar is cool, but you couldn't play it. I would much rather own a BFR Axis and fly to SLO for a factory tour :D

The Baby Animals are an awesome band, the best rock band Australia has produced in over 20 years. They sound even better with Mr Leslie playing a EBMM!

Not wrong Rob!

For me, they are THE aussie rock band.
Suze DeMarchi sings with more balls than most blokes on the scene and they rock sOOoooO Hard.

For $30,000, I would get myself the following gear (Prices are approximate, probably closer to the US prices than Canadian):

Mesa Mark Five head - $2,000
Mesa Electra Dyne - $1,500
Mesa Stiletto Deuce ver. II - $2,000
Mesa Dual Rectifier Road King - $2,800
Mesa Stiletto 4x12 x 3 - $3,000
Mesa Rectifier 4x12 - $1,000
EBMM Axis (Honey Burst) - $2,000
EBMM JP7 (White Pearl) - $2,200
EBMM Albert Lee (Candy Red) - $2,100
EBMM Steve Morse (Blueburst) - $1,900
EBMM EVH Model (Trans Red) - $3,000
Taylor 512ce - $2,500
Taylor 12 string - $2,500
TC G System - $1,500

For $30k I'd :

* Buy a plane ticket
* Fly to the US, buy $28k worth of EBMM's
* Fly to the UK / Europe, sell it all for $60k (they'd still be getting a better deal :D)
* Fly back to the US, buy the Goldtop EVH for $30k
* Then come back to Oz ........ all without effectively spending a cent.

then :

* eBay the EVH with no reserve, donate 50% to charity, and buy a pile of BFR's and other gear for whatever it fetches.

or

* Even better still, just give it back to Suze for some "favours" :D

:rolleyes::D:D

(I can already hear the lefties counting on their fingers)
