My guess would be that it is the Japanese model EX due to the top not being bookmatched but instead one piece. That plus no sig and no writing on the back of the headstock.

Agree with Glock that that guitar is an EX for the reasons mentioned. Also the serial number starts with A which was what my EX's serial started with when I had it...you are better off with a US Axis or official EVH imo!

On an EX the hardware is all EBMM USA but the wooden parts are made in Japan and differ from SLO's guitars. Stuff like a thinner, non-bookmatched, maple cap didnt bother me at all, but the baseball bat sized neck carve did...in no way does it match the profile of a US Axis/EVH. If you like huge C-profile necks then you may love it!
