Nice top! I'd give em $1,500 for it :)

Thanks in advance!

I already owned a sig axis that Eddie played ..... didn't own it, but did play it for a while after a gig.

I just had a flash of being EVH in the early 90's, sun shining and EBMM's showing up, one or two in every color with a few one of kind customs showing up....that's some good stuff right there!

I'd love to have a few ebmms show up at my door in any color one off or not :)

oh wow I was going to check out that Red one this weekend actually. So thanks for the heads up on it Lessthan. Yes that top seemed kind of average but the price was fair. My thought was the frets seems a bit pitted but I wanted to check it out. Maybe I'll take a trip down next weekend if it's still there.

The Purple one has a letter of authenticity from EBMM signed by Derek stating that the guitar was shipped to Eddie. By the looks of it though it does not seem like he took it out of the case except to look it over. Based on the condition and I guess the letter if you are into that kind of thing(Slav you listening lol) I agree with Tommy and would say 5K tops. There is a huge difference between a guitar or proto that he was known to play than a guitar just shipped to him. Who knows how many guitars EB sent to him through the years(well I guess BP does lol) but I am certain it was a lot.

I also think he would of been better off keeping the 70 plus Peavey Wolfgangs he donated to the California school music program -Hushed. Don't get me wrong it was a super cool thing to do, but don't think there are not a bunch of guys scheming on how to get their hands on them. Outside of the early EBMM sigs he and BP gave away to charities or at functions, I have seen very few of his EB guitars in the hands of collectors. I guess he decided not to part with them lol.
