Finally got the replacement bridge pickup for my purple EVH! Can't wait to install it and get the tone back to where it should be.

Ok, installed new p/up - check.
I'm at work today (music store) so its only fair that I fire up the 5150 III 50 watter and try it out...
OMG, I'm falling in love again with my EVH, it's back to what it used to sound like!! Killer tone!

Can only get one from EB (through Australian distributor) if you send them the faulty pickup. I also sent them serial number and pics of the guitar.
It was the same deal a few years back when I needed a new toggle switch.

I had to order a replacement bridge pickup ages ago and it was the same procedure - I had to send the old one back to get a new one.
