Question EVH pickup height question

I need to know what the neck and bridge pickup height in relation to the strings should be please

Im sure this has been asked and answered many time before so sorry to flog a dead horse but.......

I Tried the search function on this and it didnt reveal any info I could use... its most likely there but I couldnt find it,I only found vague references and comments like do a search or this was covered 18 months ago etc...
so could someone tell me if they know this or maybe measure it for me please if they have an evh or axis handy

I got a used evh that has been pulled about quite a bit and there is a lot of packing under both pickups ,I know I can remove the packing and the pickups SHOULD then go back to factory spec cos they are solid mounted /not adjustable but I want to know the correct measurements if possible before doing anything further
I realise I could try setting the heights by ear but I would prefer a specific frame of reference as a starting point

can anyone help please with the correct measuremants .thanks

Try searching "pickup height". Lots of threads. EVHs included. One that might help. The EVH pups are direct mounted and providing those are the stock pups and have not been modified, direct mount should give you the stock pup height.
