Me too actually although I've never owned an EVH. Passed up on a faded purple one at GC years ago that was well under $2K, I wanna say it was $1500. My first EBMM was an Axis in red. Loved the feel of the guitar but I never clicked with the Floyd Rose and I ended up selling it.
