I usually gauge resale values from the "Completed Listings" of the same or similar products on eBay for my part of the globe.

There are probably other online resources, as well.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the quick replys guys! I've seen these guitars in the $1500-2000 range on ebay, but I'm no expert. Since I live in Norway i usually have to add shipping costs and 25 % VAT to the ebay price, but the seller lives in my home town! The funny thing is that I bought an old type morse in May, and used a lot of time on finding a good one on ebay. I'd never thought in a million years that an EVH would be for sale here.:) :) :)

I think your calculation is a bit wrong though....

According to xe.com 9000 Finland Markkaa = 1,923 USD

Which is 1,048 GBP

It's a good thing I'm not Finnish then, but Norwegian. Now if you'd called me a Swede, I'd be offended :D

1 USD = 6,40 NKR

Ooops sorry :D

I saw "FINN" underneath the price and assumed that was the currency.

Like I said before if you dont want it then let me know - I'll buy it in a shot.

I do want it!! I'll go and have a look at it as soon as possible, and if it's in good shape, It's mine :D

Btw DaveB, "finn" means "find" in Norwegian, it was an honest mistake. ;)

I finally got to talk to the seller. The guitar is in near perfect condition, he's had it since the late 90s, but hardly ever played it. I won't get to try it until next tuesday though, because the seller is away. :(

I finally bought it for about $1650. It's in pretty good shape, just a few very small chips in the paint, and light fret wear. The neck needs a cleaning, and some adjustments. It's also missing one of the screws for the nut, but i have the little metal plate. The serial is 88003, I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me the dob. (also for my Morse please G28820).
