Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum but not new to ernie ball products as I have two EVH's, a purple and an amber. My problem is the purple one has faded considerably, and would like to hear from anyone who has had one re-finished by Ernie Ball. I would particularly like to know how long it took and roughly how much it costs? Anybody in the same predicament?

This is entirely my opinion, but I love the way some of the old evh colors fade!

Hello Friends,
New to the forum but not Music Man, I am the proud owner of 4 Axis's. Ernie Ball makes the best guitars on the planet !!!!!!!!! As far as my opinion goes to the gentleman wanting to re-finish his EVH, Don't do it dude, it would kill the value of it, but that's just my opinion !!!!!!!:D  :) :p

If you are going to keep the guitar and are refinishing it for your own pleasure and because you want it perfect, go for it. If you are doing it for collectability reasons or to increase the value, don't do it because it will not be "original" anymore. As far as anybody out there who has had Ernie Ball do a "repair" or refinish, I would love to know how it turned out. Keith F. knows his stuff, and I bet he does an excellent job!
