My wife took me to see Earth Wind and Fire/Chicago last night. I was never a big fan of those bands, but it was a great show. Full of energy. We saw them at the new Dodge arena in Hidalgo. Front row seats, nice spectators. Nobody spilling beer down my back. Some really tight musicians. If you get a chance to catch them it was worth the money.

I'm sure it was a great show...I've always been a fan of Earth, Wind & Fire...I grew up listening to them.
I saw them about a year ago @ Newark Symphony Hall, and I'm amazed at how much energy Verdine White (bassist) still has after all these years. I still move around a bit on stage, but I have slowed down a step or two with age...but he's still bouncing around like the energizer bunny.

Yep. That is what it looked like. A beatiful plane white with maple neck. It was great to watch the two bassest trade licks. Both were outstanding, and niether overplayed anything. EWF Had this guitar player from Russia. Interesting looking guy. Kinda of reminded me of the movie "Sling Blade" for some reason, but he had some good licks.
