Thanks For posting Rob, just spent about an hour watching these guys via the associated vids. Great Stuff. I had seen Jamie on a Guthrie Govan DVD I got from Tone Merchants. Only has him on 2 songs but it was great.

guthries sheer command of the instrument is astonishing but it dosen't move me in any way.. and for me music is all important.. I just wish these guys could move beyond the shread thing and develop songwriting skills.. otherwise whats the point..??

You are kidding? Have you heard the album?
Playing aside it has pretty much some of the best modern guitar compositions and tone recorded to date imo,and even though its just my opinion I do not make those statements casualy
send me a pm if you want me to hook you up with a copy :D

Rob I liked music via com but I found bloom to be to safe...I find that with a hellalot of guitar records

I do have the album... and it's a very good album of guitar playing... but put it beside something like a Hendrix album it just pales in comparision... but that's just my opinion... and not everyone will agree and that's fine... Guthrie is a fine player, of that their is no doubt... but I'd rather listen to a great song..:)
