Hello, I seem to be breaking a lot more strings since I started using the EB string cleaning wipes. Is anyone else having the same issue? Thanks

In all my years on the forum, I have never heard anyone complain about that, nor can I think of a reason why that would happen. Excessive string breakage is usually due to wear on the guitar, e.g. at the tuning posts or saddles, anywhere strings touch metal. Have a look with a magnifier and you may see what's going on. It's easy to fix with a little piece of sandpaper. See image below for an example...

Did you check all of the contact points for the strings? Where were they breaking? I don't see how any kind of string cleaning product could do that.

What I do think about is whether when cleaning the strings you are pulling them to the side or up, which causes contact with some type of burr.
