Hi all,
I have a combo amp where the speaker has a hard wired, but short, speaker cable attached. This cable ends in a typical "male" jack plug which in turn normally plugs into the combo's amplifier section.
I now also own a 2nd amp, this time a head not a combo, and wish to use the speaker in the combo as an extension cab but have the problem of how to plug the combo into the head due to the short hard wired lead... is there such a thing as male/female speaker cable connector convertor so a long speaker cable can be connected to the short cable in the combo?
Or is the only route soldering a new, longer speaker cable into the combo? (I'm crap at soldering!!)
