I'm not saying it is fake...nor am I qualified to make such a statement...but something looks a little funky....First of all, I've never seen a finish quite like that...secondly, the EVH signature looks funny. I don't own one to compare it to, but it looks odd.

Maybe the bridge looks strange, too....not sure.

It definitly looks cheesy.. did EVHs have SD pickups? The routing beneath the Floyd Rose doesn't look right. The body shape seems to be slightly off..

All wrong. Wrong trem, wrong trem route, wrong cavity route, wrong color, wrong jack, etc. Look at that signature compared to a real signature...

The seller appears to be a Pawn shop, so no big deal if he got taken since he probably paid $50 for it.

fake...but if it's a fake indeed, it has Music Man signature and whoever made that he broke the law. It's a trade mark and even if you are an ace luthier you can't use someone's logo...

PS. plus this Floyd Rose looks like rubbish, there is no license on it. It looks like a bad copy. The paint on the headstock seems to drift off the headstock. Normally the paint stays inside the headstock. Plus I've never seen such finish by EBMM before. And the last thing is...there is no steel plate with serial number shown on the pictures and that leads me to one conclusion: FAKE!

Has anyone thought to ask the seller for a serial number (or a photo of the serial no plate)? Could be interesting to find out, especially given that EBMM have excellent records!
