BP should do something about it. Before someone misunderstood that EBMM made such a low quality guitar like this one.

I don't think that one EBMM copy is going to make people think that EB makes bad products. Anyone that knows their stuff about guitars would already know that EB makes great products with excellent build quality. However, I think someone should contact Ebay and tell them that this guy is trying to pass a copy off as the real thing. I'm sure they would take the listing down.

EDIT: I notified Ebay about it, so we'll see what happens.

Abso-f***in'-lutely a FAKE!
The vibrato screams CHEAPO and the headstock is a nice try but just compare it to the real one and you know what's going on...

I wouldn't even pay 10 bucks for it...

Hey that's not a fake!!

It was autographed by the guy who runs the deli next to the pawn shop!!

Actually, they have good pastrami sandwiches there! Eddie makes them right on top of his 5150 amp.

I'm not an EVH enthusiast and I could tell on first instant that it is fake. Everyone has said things about the trem rout, and all that obvious stuff...

The thing that I noticed first was the chrome tuning knobs. Don't know why other than I think that is one of the coolest things about EB guitars is the pearl knobs. LOL... and for some reason, I remembered that EVHs had them.

All wrong. Wrong trem, wrong trem route, wrong cavity route, wrong color, wrong jack, etc. Look at that signature compared to a real signature...

The seller appears to be a Pawn shop, so no big deal if he got taken since he probably paid $50 for it.

I have no comment on it's authenticity.... but isn't is weird to string the guitar with the ball ends at the headstock? Does anyone else do it that way?

Pete,

Look at it this way: the ball ends are like little "Ernie Ball diamonds" sparkling in the stage lights!! The "diamond earings" of guitar strings!
