I think I recall that Sir Paul played an Albert Lee, but I can't find a pic of him with it. But then it'd have to be a lefty and they don't exist right?

I'm listening to an Internet classic rock station...it's not my first choice in music but it's cool to listen to every blue moon. I'm embarrassed to say I've never heard a Wishbone Ash before and a live version of a tune called Throw Down the Sword came on. It had a really nice extended solo in it.

After some googlin' I found out the guy who did it: Andy Powell. His main guitar is a Flying V but he has a Silo Special as well...

I too had never heard of them, but an older friend @ work is a huge fan from the 70's. After seeing the above picture, I went to their website and check out Andy Powells quote bout his gear.

"My other main stage axe is a custom made Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette finished in an antique gold. It has a Seymour Duncan humbucking pickup in the bridge position and two DiMarzio Hot Rails in the neck and middle positions. The guitar is also fitted with a Wilkinson locking trem where the arm has to be engaged in order to free up the system. This works to correct the problems of many tremolo systems in that it compensates for the pitch lowering when you are doing a double string blues bend, for example."

Very nice!!!
