...sure would like to find an AL like this....

Special run for Guitar Center? I know they do special runs in different colors from time-to-time - I remember the local GC having a vintage sunburst Luke III in for a while.

Fwiw, I tried to play a blue one there a few weeks ago, but the neck dive was so bad I gave up after a few minutes.
Maybe they balance better when standing and strapped...

+1 on the pickguard. How about a clear one? But these are not flat 3-ply guards, they are 3-dimensional (the edge has a profile). So EBMM would probably need to make it in clear.

@xjbebop: What do you mean by "neck dive"? When seated the headstock wants to turn like the hands of a clock to the floor?

Disclaimer--I was on codeine when i saw this thread last night,
...but with the guitar vertical like that, the pickguard kinda reminds me of the nurse's hat of the nurse who used to give me shots in my butt when i was a kid

The same of a Gibson SG: with the guitar on your leg, if you take your hands off the guitar, the neck wants to go down to the floor. Compare this to Morse's or Petrucci's, these are balanced guitars, they stay in place when you take your hands off.

Keith...LMAO!! :-)
