Wait a minute... the 25th is still listed?! Does that mean the ordering window is reopened until summer NAMM?!!?!!

If it is, I'm ordering one right away.

And i think it was down for awhile. I tried accessing it earlier in the day, but could not get in.

You realize that there is a 25th H maple and a 25th HSS rosewood still in the music man shop list? You can buy them right away, no wait time etc.

Notice they are at the END of the list now; they were at the top. There are all kinds of 25ths available at several places. Even BFRs, which I highly recommend.

PS... that tobacco burst Sterling looks awesome!

Those Classics sure look great!

They sure do. Bet they sound great too.

But according to the guide weight listed on the site the Classic Rays are even heavier than the regular models. I guess it doesn't matter much for home use or coffee table bass purposes but for gigging them every night, that's inconvenient.

My '92 SR5 weighs 10.5 pounds so if the Classic 5's are listed at (give or take) 10.75 pounds then it shouldn't be too bad of an adjustment.

aw jeez, I have had 12 and 14 pound basses. It really isnt much of difference to me going to a 9 pound bass. Play the damn thing. Move around and your shoulder wont cramp up on you.
About the AL, I was very interested when they said mahogany though I am not familiar with African Mahogany. More familar with Phillipine, Honduran, and Indian varieties of that wood. Love what mahogany does for tone. Now if I can just get a big AL with an ebony f-board and single bucker I will be super happy. Maybe summer namm?
Who am I kidding, I want one of each classic series bass. 4 banger, 5 banger and Sterling.

Some of those real old ones were boat anchors too. The idea is that the tone makes you forget the weight.
