Favorite EBMM colors?

EBMM has or has had some really great colors for their guitars. What is your favorite?

For maple topped guitars/transparent finishes, I love Pacific Blue Burst.

For solid colors/sparkles, I'd go with Blue Dawn.

For discontinued, it would be Olive Gold.

Although I once owned a Blue Dawn Luke, I don't own guitars with any of these colors. I'm really bummed I missed out on Olive Gold. That was a great color.

What about you guys? What are your favorites? Do you own guitars with them?

Love all of them but for me its Lucky Gold, the color of the Gold Roller Silo, second is the limited hot rod red on the GC exclusive Axis/Axis Super Sports

Graphite Pearl!

And for trans. finishes, Tobacco Burst wins hands down. I saw it on an ASS once and it was beautiful. I had the pleasure of playing a Bahama Blue JP BFR a few days ago too, and it was also damn beautiful. At the DT concert JP played his Cherry Burst BFR and it was pretty sexy as well.

Blue Dawn is awesome as well, and Mystic Dream is great too. So lots of great EBMM colors. But I haven't seen many other colors in person, so I can't really comment on much else.

All of the finishes are good. My top 3 are all either discontinued or limited run:

1. Caramel Apple Delight
2. Amethyst Burst
3. Olive Gold

A fourth would be Stealth, followed by Mystic Dream. I'm also really partial to Trans Blue on the Albert Lee. Trans Blue with a White Pearloid pg is my choice for an AL.

But I love: Tobacco Burst, Cherry Burst, Black Cherry Burst, Pacific Blue Burst

The ones I like tend to be the discontinued ones, however there are some currents one I like a lot as well.

My favorites are:

- Sterling Silver

- Cabernet Pearl

- Emerald Burst

- Original Dargie Green / Dargie II Caramel Apple

- Amethyst Burst

- Orange Firemist

- Olive Gold

- Blue Pearl

From those currently offered: BFR ruby red burst, honeyburst, tobaccoburst, vintage sunburst, venetian redburst.

Honorable mention: black cherryburst.

What can I say? I like dark bursts!

I tend to like the colours you can't really find anywhere else, so it's kind of a bummer that more of the exotic ones "don't exist" anymore.

Desert Gold, Teal Pearl, Mystic Dream, Egyptian Smoke, Gunsmoke, Radiance Red, Graphite Pearl, Orange Firemist, Stratus Blue Sparkle, Autumn Redrise etc.

Of course, MD isn't discontinued.

I always liked vintage burst!

Radiance Red, Martini Olive Green, Pearl Blue (from the mid nineties), Blue Dawn.

Own a blue dawn, but I really love luke blue too, has to be seen under different lightings! that color changes a LOT under different lightings!

PS haven't seen any of the newer colors in the flesh, so can't comment on those..

white is probably my favorite followed by natural wood grain. Trans black, fire engine red, sonic blue, surf green .. all good. I know, not necessarily EBMM colors but I'm not all that familiar with said palette.

I don't get or share the love for the dargie green or whatever you guys call it. Some mighty strong kool-aid going 'round I've not had the pleasure to enjoy yet.

I have been waiting for years for an announcement that seafoam green will be available; I'm still waiting. Perhaps in 2010?

since it got my DD2....

as solid colors:
Caramel Apple Delight
Blue Dawn
Rad Red
MD

trans colors:
trans black
black burst
purple sunset
tobacco burst
trans blue (from the old EVH models)

but there are so many other nice colors offered!

Love most of the colors but if I HAVE to choose three I'ld say DD2, white sparkle and cherry burst for figured tops.

This is really hard to pick one or even few favs from EBMM's color list. This is just amazing how fabulous those finishes are.

However If I were pushed to wall I'd rather go with Stealth Black, Bahama Blue Quilt and Blue Dawn (which I luckily have on JP07LE) as my tops.

I honestly think that If I was about to have one guitar in each finish I like I would have like 2 dozens of EBMMs and founds way too bigger then I actually have )
