Zombie by the Cranberries was a nice bass tone, not really a line...

the bass in the video is a 'ray, pretty sure. Don't know about recording.

Jamiroquai's runaway also sounds much better on a 'ray, imo.

Jamiroquai's Runaway chorus was played on a 'ray. Verse played on a P Bass.

Subtle, in the pocket, memorable, booty shaking stuff with killer tone!

Lonnie Turner's stuff immediately came to mind, especially the Joker. Not a complex line, but ohh that groove.
