Man I can't pick a favourite song! Lately am enjoying playing Arctic Monkeys and The Fratellis a lot, but enjoy playing most things really!

And a good bit of Greenday! :D

Must have been about 16 or 17 years ago.

In that case the bass player was good friend and mentor of mine Paul Geary. He has an early 90s Stingray 5 which he has played with a lot of top names. He's recently been on tour with George Michael and has recently just done some album tracks with Mick Hucknel (Simply Red). I think he's going to tour with them soon to promote the album. He's also done some gigs with Charlotte Church and Lemar. For some strange reason he's always been overlooked as an MM endorsee. I think they should sign him up.

His web site is at Paul Geary Bass Guitarist . It's not right up to date however. Quite an impressive CV none the less.

He was very good when I saw him with Lisa Stansfield. Watching the videos on that site, he gets a great tone from that SR5.

Oh yeah, back to the thread, You Oughta Know, by Alanis Morrisette.

I actually loved the way my old Stealth Bongo HS 4...now Oldtoe's...felt and sounded on my original band's 2005 cd, with one track in particular that stood out sonically!

There was practically no coloring during the mixing process...all natural tone.
