Only ever played and owned a Silo special and totally love it but it's always in the back of my mind to replace it with a Luke....What sonic differences can I expect? I always imagine a Luke to be a fatter sounding guitar.

My fav is my blue EVH...the pickups are super hot, the neck is awesome, the top is killer and i really had to jump through some BIG hoops to get it!!

brent - i hate you for posting this picture again! ;)
oh man, the blue one is really a killer!

i can´t really say which one i like best...
with my new project i mostly use the JP7 and JP6 (it´s a DT-like project ;) )

with my coverband i use the EVH and Y2D - more straight classic-rock.

Bud, the Luke is similar sounding, but the Silo is has a more raw sound, a stratty kinda tone. the Luke has a more controlled strat tone, thats the EMG influence. I use the Luke in the studio heaps, no noise at all. But live i always go the silo.

Thanks Rob
