Ahem... Bongo or Sterling! ;)
Having met your lovely wife, she didn't strike me as the killing type, but then again...

What the heck! First Beej, now you... Go for it!

I actually have a bass-- sort of. I have a Fender P-Bass here, it's American made.. in the early 80's I think. Technically, it belongs to my brother, but I've had it at my house for the last 7 or 8 years. He doesn't play anymore, and sold all the rest of his gear. He said I can have the bass, but I feel like I have to pay him something for it.

He heavily modified it, though. It's got a Kahler tremolo and a Duncan active EQ split pickup. I've got a pic of it somewhere.

It plays great, though. I use it for all my home recording.

Maybe I'll buy it and then turn around and sell or trade it for an EBMM bass?

psycho....enjoy this bad boy for awhile and then we will figure out whats next. I know its corny but I think our stuff is just incredible...I do have a soft spot for the sterling in that bass we really approached it as a signature bass for me. I didnt think that people knew who I was in 93 and never would have named it that if I know what I know now..but what the heck that design is 13 years old and there aren't too many basses that can hold a candle to it...but remember I'm biased

ya, i kinda like the Sterling too :) Best bass on earth IMHO

IMHO that P bass is family and it was given to you. No need to go anywhere with it.

That is your brother there. If you got to have it out of your house give it to someone that could and would use it.
