Oooh ooh ooh!

Anything by TLC. I know, but "Unpretty" is a really good song with a really good message!

"Happy Boy" Beat Farmers.

Another Beat Farmers fan here. Happy Boy always makes me smile.

and I must admit

"Walking on Sunshine" - Katrina and the Waves

Great choice, even though my wife hates it. I love that band.

I'd also suggest:

Fountains of Wayne: Joe Rey, Survival Car, Utopia Parkway, Red Dragon Tattoo, Mexican Wine, Bright Future In Sales

La's: There She Goes Again

Kinks: Waterloo Sunset

Three Degrees: When Will I See You Again

Good thread

My top feel good tune would be

All Night Long - Lionel Ritchie

But the following will also bring a smile to my face

Green Tinted Sixites Mind - Mr Big
Ballroom Dancing - Paul McCartney
Hyperactive - Thomas Dolby
Wood Beez - Scritti Politti
Tracie - Level 42
Little Guitars - Van Halen
Analog Kid - Rush
Manuela Run and Rosanna - Toto (woo hoo)

Summertime is great. I've got that on a great mix CD with a whole bunch of great, good-time tunes including Toto's Rosanna, Big Poppa by Notorious B.I.G :D, EWF's Fantasy, and I Got a Man by Positive K.

If you guys have never heard it...check out "Amy is Amazing", "Vinyl", or a song called "Girl Crazy" by Paul Gilbert.

Perfect songs for the car on a clear stretch of road...and will turn any frown upside down! :)
