Feel of Action on Luke iii Compared to Axis

I know the factory specs for action setting is pretty close to the Axis. I love my Axis but had to lower the action slightly under specs to get the feel I need. For those of you with both guitars I am just wondering if the Luke action feels higher due to a flatter radius or about the same as the Axis? Can it be lowered some with out a lot of tone loss or deadened fret sounds?

You should have no problem with setting the action to your preferred specs. I like mine a bit lower than stock myself.

Low action will pretty much always decrease the tone a bit. however the Luke III has adjustable saddles, so it is MUCH easier to dial in the action.
