I don´t know why but bongos always seem to me a futuristic bass

Agreed! A number of years ago I was with my family in Walt Disney World (Orlando, FL). We're in Tomorrow-land and there's a mobile Band walking around, performing music, including a guitar player and a bass player. Ad i'm thinking to myself - "That guy NEEDS a Bongo for this gig!"

I've had people come up to me after I have finished playing my Bongo and tell me that it is the coolest bass they have ever seen and then they ask what kind it is. I always tell them it is the best kept secret in the bass playing world and then continue to tell them about the bass.
