So my birthday is coming up and the wife has offered to buy me either a weekend at the Playboy mansion, or a crash course in Sky Diving. What do you guys think?

Raz I'm with SteveB on this one, work here for a trip by yourself!!!!! Do you really think that the Playmates at the mansion are gonna talk to you or even anyone else on this forum??? Well that is excluding BP, Luke, JP and Steve. :D

I'm going to leave this alone for a little while (unless it goes south), but listen, it's the Music Man Forum.

Now the difference is that we are right while they are wrong, but that much should be obvious even to the New User.

Well, I like my strat alot, but you can't buy one like it, it's a one-of-a-kind. You didn't say if it was a V or a C neck Custom Classic.

After owning a Silo and now a Sub 1, I say the better all-around geetar is the Silo Special. I prefer the Music Man Tremolo, it has a much beefier plate, among other things. Sspecs are simply awsome guitars for the money. I really want one myself. I think you would like the pups too, plus the ease of neck adjustments vs a strat.

But, owning them both would be cool too.

There's been a couple of threads here lately about the versatility of the Silo Spec. One was by doubleR just
yesterday and should do some convincing.

Can't help but notice in your title that you capitalized the custom classic strat and used lower case for most of the Music Man Silhouette Special.. maybe there is some psychological significance there....
